Background

Edbetter Limited (“Edbetter“) owns and operates certain websites, mobile applications, and services including Space Trap Mobile Game or Application (“Space Trap“), Describe in 8 Seconds Mobile Game or Application (“8 seconds“), Letty Application (“Letty“), 8 or Bust (“8 Or Bust“), and Numbers Jam (“Tony Dum Dum“) (together the “Edbetter Application and Services”).

Space Trap, 8 Seconds, 8 Or Bust, and Numbers Jam are game applications for mobile.

Our Privacy Policy provides clarity about the information we collect and how it is used by us. By installing the Edbetter Application and Services, you are accepting our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information we collect, how we collect the information, and where the information is stored

We do not collect any personal information from our users. All our current applications and games are currently only played and used in offline and standalone mode without any registration. This may change later which would be intimated to you when it is modified.

We collect information in three ways:

  1. Information you provide us: Currently, all our apps and games work without any collection of personal information. We only have Google Leaderboards and achievements for display via Google Play Services API. We don’t collect or store any personal information.
  2. Connecting through Social Networks We are currently not using any Social networks (such as Facebook) for logging and access. In the future, if we enabled Facebook or any other social media access, EdBetter would work in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the agreed Social Network.

2. Other Policies

  1. Payment Information: Edbetter may also receive the billing and payment information that you provide when your in-game virtual currency purchase is processed by another party, such as Apple (for purchases on iOS devices).
  2. Advertising of Third-Party Products and Services: We do not actively share personal information with third-party advertisers for their direct marketing purposes. We use standard SDK provided by advertisers like Applovin MAX and Yodo MAS for advertising. This SDK shares (i) aggregated information (information about you and other users collectively like approximate location, but not identifiable to you); (ii) anonymous information; and (iii) certain technical information (including Advertising IDs) to develop and deliver targeted advertising in the Edbetter Application and Services and on the websites of third parties.
  3. Sale or Merger: In the event that Edbetter undergoes a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its asset. If material changes to Edbetter’s privacy practices will occur as a result of the business transition, we will notify you and other users of the business transition prior to changing the policy.
  4. Our Policies Concerning Children: Our websites and games are not intended for children under the age of 13 and we do not collect any personal information from such children.
  5. Privacy Policies of Linked Sites and Advertisers: Our websites and games may contain advertisements from companies other than Edbetter that may provide a link to their own websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites. We apply filters to restrict adults, gambling, and soliciting ads from our advertisers.
  6. Information Security: We take measures to protect Edbetter and our users from unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of information we hold. In particular:
    • We encrypt certain services using SSL;
    • We review our information collection, storage, and processing practices, to guard against unauthorized access to systems; and
    • All our current mobile games are played only in offline mode and no data or any server is used for any features.

4. Data collected for Analytics

Edbetter uses Google Firebase and Crashyltics tools to help us understand how our Games are being used in order to help us improve our Games and plan for future game releases. We use Firebase Analytics to keep track of how many players are engaging with our Games, player progress, any in-app purchases, as well as device type, operating system, language settings, play session lengths, and broad geographic information like your country and city.

5. Choice

Opt-Out of interest-based advertising
It is possible to opt out of interest-based advertising. In doing so, a lot of the data captured by us or our third-party service providers will not be collected.

Your Device controls
If you would like to opt-out of interest-based advertising, we recommend following the below steps.

  • Apple devices: Follow the steps outlined on this Apple support page
  • Android devices: Navigate to the Google settings App, select Ads, and then choose to reset your Android Ad ID or opt-out of personalized ads.
